About Your Energy Footprint

We're Focused on You

Robin has worked in the utility industry for 20 years, including as a renewable developer running financial analysis for utility scale solar development and managed large solar and battery assets.

We believe that installing more renewable energy globally is part of the solution to address Climate Change, and residential solar should be a part of this puzzle. However, we don't believe that individual homeowners should make the decision to invest in residential solar based solely on biased information from an installer and potentially lose money on their investment.

Our solution is to provide homeowners with straight-forward, affordable resources to understand all of the key drivers for a smart investment in residential solar.

Your Energy Footprint has no affiliation with any solar and battery installer or manufacturer.

Your Energy Footprint's mission is to educate consumers on ways they can be more energy efficient as well as provide information on major investments in their home, like residential solar.

We want you to understand your investment in solar and batteries for your home to determine if it’s the best choice for you.

If you decide to invest, you should do so CONFIDENTLY!

About The Company

Why Choose Us?

As far as we can tell, there are no other truly independent advisors out there for residential solar. Information you get from a “free advisor” through an energy marketplace may be useful, but their compensation is still tied to you moving forward with a solar project, even if it’s not a particular supplier.

At Your Energy Footprint, we want you to fully understand the pros and cons of investing in solar for your home. Solar installers have set up the buying process to not be transparent and easy to understand with things as simple as including assumptions in calculators that are not disclosed or easy for the consumer to adjust.

Solar can be a great choice for your budget and the environment, but it’s not always. We’re here to help you make a decision either way.

We’ve set up these courses to be straight forward. You can listen to the podcasts as you go about your day - doing the dishes, commuting, etc. When you’re ready to get quotes, analyze your quotes, or make a decision, you can use the handouts and calculator file provided to walk you through the process. No need to take notes!

If you have questions that are not answered in the courses, then please email us at robin@yourenergyfootprint.com. She will follow up to answer your question, generally within 2 business days.
